Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced café environment. As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in crafting delicious sandwiches and providing excellent customer service. This position requires attention to detail, a passion for food, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions about menu items.
- Operate cash registers accurately, processing payments and handling cash transactions.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area for guests.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and providing accurate change.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
