Overview
Angie’s Café is seeking a dependable and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Stockbridge, Georgia. The ideal candidate can work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant, follow recipes and instructions, and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Spanish communication skills are required because daily kitchen instructions and team coordination are primarily conducted in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Work with the grill, fryer and food preparation stations.
- Prepare ingredients before and during service.
- Follow portion-control and food-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized workstation.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with cleaning and other kitchen duties as needed.
- Work effectively with other kitchen employees during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant cooking experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions.
- Dependable, punctual and organized.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Reliable transportation to Stockbridge, Georgia.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays when needed.
