Job Overview
Pacific Air Cargo is seeking an experienced, driven Sales Manager to lead our sales function and accelerate revenue growth across our Hawaii and Pacific Rim markets. Reporting to senior leadership, the Sales Manager will be responsible for managing strategic customer relationships, and personally driving new business.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Drive new customer acquisition across air cargo, charter, ground handling, produce, pharma, vehicle, pet, and military freight segments.
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to expand PAC’s market share in Hawaii, the U.S. mainland, American Samoa, Guam, and international Pacific Rim routes.
- Maintain an active personal book of business by managing and growing key accounts.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with freight forwarders, integrators, airlines, and logistics providers to enhance PAC’s network and service offering.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Own the team’s pipeline management and forecasting using CRM tools.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and refine strategy.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on team performance, pipeline health, and market insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer service and accounting to ensure seamless account onboarding and service delivery.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and strategic customers.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex customer issues, ensuring outstanding service outcomes in line with PAC’s reputation.
- Represent Pacific Air Cargo at industry events, trade shows, and in the broader Hawaii and logistics business community.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 5+ years of sales experience in air cargo, freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation (required).
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading a sales team to exceed targets.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM platforms and data-driven sales management.
- Deep understanding of the Hawaii market and the unique logistics dynamics of island supply chains.
- Hybrid: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote.
Preferred
- Background in air freight, cargo logistics
- Established relationships within the Hawaii, Pacific Rim, or U.S. territories freight community.

Location
Los Angeles, CA. Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Los Angeles. Regular travel to Hawaii and PAC’s key markets may be required.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
