The Nanny Maison is assisting a private Miami family with the search for an experienced and dependable nanny. The ideal candidate is warm, proactive, organized, and committed to providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care.
This is a direct-hire position. The selected nanny will be employed and compensated directly by the family. The Nanny Maison is managing candidate recruitment, screening, and introductions.

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate childcare
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment
- Plan age-appropriate activities, crafts, outdoor play, and educational experiences
- Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
- Support school, nap, homework, or bedtime routines as applicable
- Transport children safely to school, activities, appointments, or playdates when required
- Maintain children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings
- Complete children’s laundry and other child-related household tasks
- Communicate clearly with parents regarding routines, activities, behavior, and concerns
- Follow the family’s household rules, parenting preferences, and safety expectations
- Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
Qualifications
- At least two years of professional childcare experience
- Experience caring for children within a private home, school, daycare, or similar environment
- Strong professional childcare references
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and proactive
- Excellent communication and judgment
- Understanding of child development and age-appropriate care
- Valid CPR and first-aid certification, or willingness to become certified before starting
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if driving is required
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to complete professional reference, background, and driving-record screening when applicable
- Ability to make a long-term commitment to the family
Preferred experience
- Infant, toddler, preschool, or school-aged childcare
- Teaching or early-childhood education
- Family-assistant responsibilities
- Travel with private families
- Meal preparation and household organization
