We are seeking a motivated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring guests receive prompt and exceptional service by efficiently delivering food from the kitchen to tables. Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared dishes accurately and promptly from the kitchen to designated tables, ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing under chef supervision.
- Support servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and attending to guest needs to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to communicate special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Ensure timely delivery of food during busy service periods, managing multiple tables efficiently.
- Uphold guest service excellence by providing friendly, professional, and attentive assistance at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; experience with banquet or hotel service is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years or older since you will be handling alcoholic drinks
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to go up and down stairs with a tray
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or culinary roles is beneficial.
- Hospitality or guest services background enhances the ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
