Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, with experience operating box trucks and handling heavy loads.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
- Ensure accurate delivery of goods while maintaining proper documentation and delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
- Follow route schedules and adapt to route changes as necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company policies
- Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management and moving stock when required
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of delivery vehicle
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with route driving in a commercial setting
- Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jacks
- Experience handling heavy lifting and moving large or bulky items safely
- Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous
- Customer service skills are essential for interacting positively with clients
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license required, with a clean driving record
- Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles preferred, along with familiarity with courier or load & unload procedures

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
