I remember back when the Maitre D' ran the restaurant, knew every guest by name, and they owned the experience. Every guest felt like family. From a guest's perspective, the restaurant was "MY" restaurant.
I am searching for a General Manager that will run the restaurant, know every guest by name, and own what happens during each guest's experience.
I am looking for a leader that has managed an upscale restaurant(s), has coached teams on how to sell, and has authentic leadership.
Requirements for the position:
3 + years managing an upscale restaurant environment (not fast food or fast casual, not IT jobs, not a Barista at a Coffee place, not a person working in a warehouse - all of these are respectful positions, but this is not what we are looking for)
Training is part of your DNA
Great image - Smiling is natural to you, you like to look sharp, and your expectation is the people you work with look sharp
Mentorship is what you do every shift, every week for your team
Have a great understanding of P & L's
Can Bend, Stoop, Crouch, pick up 50lbs, stand consistently for 8-10 hours
