The Bureau of Community Food and Nutrition Assistance work is meaningful. Our programs implement services and activities that increase access to healthy, nutritious food, which in turn reduces preventable nutrition-related illnesses and deaths and increases positive health outcomes for eligible Missourians. Our goal is to improve the health and safety of Missourians most in need. This position will support the Bureau of Community Food and Nutrition Assistance. The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
Responsibilities - What you’ll do
What you’ll do:
- Support programs with general office operations. Track documents through the approval process.
- Assist with business travel which includes, lodging, car reservations, conference registrations etc.
- Assist in the processing of supplies and orders
- Process expense reports, purchase requests, and manage fixed asset inventory.
- Process daily mail/email and distribute to the appropriate person(s).
- Email and track programmatic monitoring letters.
Qualifications - All you need for success
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate with a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience (substitutions allowed).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.
- Good telephone skills and customer service.
- Well organized and an ability to pay attention to detail.
Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
