Material Expeditor
Ensures orderly material movement of products by transporting materials, supplies and finished products to designated stocking locations. Also, responsible for maintaining an organized inventory of stock and supporting inventory accuracy for efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
· Receives and distributes materials to designated locations for storage.
· Provides departments with appropriate materials based on materials specified on BOMs, Parts lists, and blueprints to maintain production schedules.
· Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory by utilizing the ERP system ODOO.
· Proficient at operating trucks, forklifts, cranes and other equipment to move freight.
· Performs all tasks required in a safe and conscientious manner.
· Communicate with machine shop and weld foreman to route pallets in/ out of WIP racks.
· Knowledge of materials, including steel/raw materials, mechanical components.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Good math skills.
· Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP.
· Efficient time management skills.
· Skilled at operating a forklift, crane and other material handling equipment.
· Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
· Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines.
· Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive team attitude.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
· Consistently adhere to assigned work schedule, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
· Need ability to operate a forklift and/or crane.- Training Provided

College coursework or other formal training in related fields is preferred.
At least two years of related experience is preferred.
