Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products, stocking shelves, and ensuring displays are attractive
- Conduct upselling by suggesting additional products or services to meet customer needs
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform cash handling duties with integrity
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory counts
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure smooth store operations
Skills
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats; bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Customer service expertise with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management in a retail environment
- Familiarity with upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional customer interactions
- Basic math skills necessary for daily retail operations and cash register accuracy
