Transnational Staffing is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fitter/Fabricator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and mark cutting and bending lines accurately
- Set up and operate metalworking machinery, including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, saws, brakes, and shears
- Review and interpret fabrication drawings prior to production
- Fabricate and assemble metal components to specifications
- Perform quality inspections on completed products
- Complete inspection and production reports
- Maintain production schedules by completing work in a timely manner
- Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience as a Fitter/Fabricator
- AWS welding certification
- Proficiency with standard shop equipment
- Hi-lo (forklift) license
- Experience with rigging and overhead crane operation
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
