SERVER
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Full time (seasonal)
The Server is responsible for giving exceptional service to the members and guests in all Food and
Beverage outlets. This position requires a positive personality and attitude, a flexible work schedule, and excellent customer service skills.
- Greet and seat guests
- Use of a POS (point of sale) System frequently
- Maintain order and cleanliness in all F&B outlets
- Assure that member satisfaction standards are consistently attained
- Create a desirable dining atmosphere through attitude, appearance, and knowledgeable service
- Ability to learn the golf course quickly
- Be flexible and willing to help in all facets of the operation as directed by the managerial staff
- Ensure a high level of customer service is performed
Skills
- Attention to detail
- Having a flexible schedule. 40-hour work week and available on weekends, holidays, early mornings, late evenings, and overtime
- Comfortable with standing for long periods of time
- Ability to lift objects usually 50 lbs or less
- Ability to work in a group environment
- Willing to work in a variety of outdoor conditions throughout the season
Education/Experience
- Any persons over the age of 18 and has a valid Driver’s License
- Those applying for busser positions may be 16+
- Must have or plan to obtain an ABC license
- Serving experience preferred but not required
- Applicants with bartending experience are highly considered for hiring
- Hourly rate (based on experience) + commission. $14-20/hour.
- Compensation package also includes team uniforms, an employee appreciation fund (end of season), scholarship opportunities, and meals while on duty.
