American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a cardiovascular operating room position requiring a minimum of 18 months of CVOR experience and strong endovascular skills.

Position is based in a cardiovascular OR (CVOR) setting within a hospital
-
Cardiovascular and vascular surgical patient population, including cardiac, endovascular, and aortic cases
-
Strong endovascular experience expected, with high-acuity cardiac and vascular procedures

AM shift, 10-hour shifts on weekdays (5am–11am and 11pm–7am windows) and 12-hour shifts on weekends and holidays (7a–7p / 7p–7a)

Weekend requirement includes one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per rotation (shifts do not need to be consecutive)

Averages approximately 70 hours per four-week period, though hours may vary

Holiday rotation is required, including weekends surrounding holidays

13-week contract

Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Minimum 18 months of full-time CVOR RN experience within a similar-acuity CVOR setting within the last 3 years

Strong proficiency in cardiac and vascular procedures (self-rated 3s and 4s required)

Strong endovascular (wires) experience required

Travel nursing experience preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Former permanent staff of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to this specific facility, a separation of 18 months is required

RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if the time off does not fall on or near a holiday

RTO is limited to a maximum of 3 days if the time off falls on or near a holiday

Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract

RTO requests must be spread out and will not be approved if clustered consecutively around holidays
