- Increase production and distribution performance by improving methods, workflow, training, MRP utilization, and equipment effectiveness while strengthening documentation and safety.
- Deliver operational and financial results in partnership with the CFO and other key executives.
- Build measurement tools and dashboards that reveal true capability, repeatability, and efficiency across internal and external processes.
- Lead value stream mapping and focused kaizen that reduce scrap, repair, and rework and raise out‑of‑box quality.
- Stand up SPC, right‑sized testing and inspection, and practical mistake‑proofing (poka‑yoke).
- Ensure a clean, organized, safe facility with strong ergonomics and accurate inventory.
- Partner early with design engineering to provide DFM guidance and launch new products smoothly to the factory floor.
- Own the capital plan: recommend purchases, leases, modifications, repairs, and preventive maintenance to hit performance targets.
- Coach supervisors and hourly teams with the tools and training needed to adopt the company’s manufacturing initiatives.
- Resolve manufacturing and distribution issues quickly and permanently.
- Participate on the Corporate Leadership Team; model mission, values, sound judgment, and compliance with company policies and DMP Data Classification Standards.
- Adapt as priorities evolve; responsibilities may change per senior management direction.
- 10+ years of manufacturing management and distribution experience preferred.
- Accredited four‑year engineering degree; electrical or mechanical emphasis preferred.
- Master’s in manufacturing, engineering management, or business administration strongly preferred (not required).
- Hands‑on exposure to automated SMT assembly, solder reflow, in‑circuit testing, automated functional testing, and automated material handling preferred.
- Sharp analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills; decisive prioritization and calm under pressure.
- Influence without authority; collaborate across staff, management, and teams to meet company goals.
- Executive‑level communicator who can present manufacturing strategy and train hourly teams on lean practices.
- Fluent with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MRP II.
- Values‑anchored, ethical, open to constructive feedback, and consistent attendance at or above 98%.
