Shift : Approximately 45-50 Hours Per Week/Five Days Per Week 10:00am – 8:00pm
Job Overview : The Restaurant Manager will direct and organize all restaurant operations to ensure a quality work environment and customer satisfaction. The candidate will be a team player, and develop and manage a motivated restaurant staff of +30 employees. This restaurant offers an indoor/outdoor waterfront dining experience for +200 patrons, therefore knowledge of fresh fish and seafood is preferred.
General Responsibilities :
- Learns, complies and keeps up to date with all departmental policies and procedures
- Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of food and beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs
- Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service
- Learns and explains food and beverage menu and daily features to guests and service staff
- Trains, supervises, counsels, evaluates and schedules staff
Job Qualifications & Experience :
- Five to eight years of Management in Food or Culinary Services Required, experience is Private or Semi Private Clubs a plus.
Technical Standards :
- Requires walking and standing for an entire shift
- Must possess visual and communication ability
