Partners Excavating is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator, Dozer, Loader, Roller, etc.) to join our reputable team. This position is full-time, and job sites are within a 1 hour driving distance from our main office located in Mount Crawford, VA.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience consistently operating heavy excavating equipment. Equipment experience may include excavators (varying in size), bulldozer, loaders, articulated dump truck, pans, and/or rollers.
- Willingness to help where needed, even if that means jumping in to do labor work. The "I don't do labor work" mentality is not part of the culture at Partners. We are a team.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
Core Responsibilities
- Safe Equipment Operation
- Pre- and Post- Operation Inspections
- Routine Maintenance (greasing and cleaning)
Requirements:
- Ability to work 7 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and occasionally on Saturdays.
- Ability to provide your own transportation to and from jobsites if needed.
- Ability to stand, sit, squat, kneel, twist, grasp, reach, and/or bend for up to 9 hours (collectively) per day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Ability to figure grades is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read plans is preferred, but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
