Ticket Attendant Position Summary
The Ticket Attendant is the first point of contact for guests visiting Waterfront Hospitality. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, answering questions, selling cruise tickets, and helping create a positive first impression. The ideal candidate is outgoing, knowledgeable, and enjoys interacting with people while promoting our cruises, restaurant, and other waterfront experiences.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Sell cruise tickets using our reservation system.
- Provide guests with information about cruise schedules, dining options, events, and waterfront attractions.
- Recommend cruises, dining experiences, and other offerings to maximize ticket sales.
- Answer questions in person and over the phone.
- Assist guests with reservations, directions, and general inquiries.
- Verify tickets and assist with guest boarding.
- Maintain an organized and welcoming ticket booth.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Help ensure boarding areas remain organized and guests are informed of departure times.
- Communicate with captains, dock staff, and management regarding cruise departures and guest needs.
- Assist with promoting daily specials, upcoming events, and seasonal offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service while resolving guest concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys interacting with people.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable handling cash and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Sales or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be dependable, professional, and able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
