Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year
A skilled nursing facility in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead and oversee all human resources functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working closely with facility leadership, supporting employees, and helping build a strong workplace culture.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives
- Manage employee relations and serve as a resource for staff and management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Administer benefits, leave management, and company policies
- Assist department leaders with performance management and disciplinary processes
- Coordinate employee orientation and training programs
- Conduct workplace investigations and resolve employee concerns
- Support payroll and personnel reporting processes
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Previous HR leadership experience required
- Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, or healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and employee relations
- Experience with recruitment and staff retention strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- $65,000 – $75,000 per year
