Job Description
CSI – a customized hardware/software engineering company headquartered in Richardson, TX is looking for an Electrical Integration Engineer. The ideal candidate has responsibilities including system level design, aircraft power distribution design/analysis and design of aircraft electrical wiring interconnect systems (EWIS). Candidate will assist with system design for aircraft command, control, and communication systems and will be responsible for component selection and ensuring that program requirements are satisfied. Design support is continuous from requirements definition through integration and test; and maintenance of design documentation and configuration management is required throughout the product life-cycle.
The selected candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and will be subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This job is located in the Bellevue, NE CSI office.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with an understanding of electrical power systems and power distribution
- 3+ years of experience in design and documentation of aircraft wiring to include parts list, bill of materials, and assembly drawings
- 3+ years of experience in AC and DC power systems to aid in aircraft power distribution design and analysis
- 3+ years of experience using electrical design CAD tools such as Zuken E3 and Siemens NX Electrical Routing
- Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions
- Possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and retain a DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in Engineering or Business
- Familiar with configuration management process
- Familiar with requirements management process
- Familiar with military style connectors and wiring
- Familiar with system level EMI/EMC
- Familiar with FAA EWIS standards, AS50881 and AC 43.13-1B
· Current Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance
