Job Summary
Join our team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, preparing shipments, entering orders, placing purchase orders, and doing some basic accounting tasks. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining safety and accuracy throughout all processes.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment by following detailed picking & packing procedures to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and place vendor orders.
- Manage shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
- Stock shelves and organize space to optimize storage capacity and accessibility.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment using basic math skills for accuracy.
- Perform some light accounting tasks which training provided.
- Support warehouse distribution operations by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, including order fulfillment and stock management.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure efficient workflow.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with physical stamina for lifting, standing, and moving.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
