Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess strong clinical knowledge, and be committed to improving health outcomes in our community. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug information, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare providers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy.
- Conduct medication therapy management and health screenings as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
- Educate patients about health and wellness, including disease prevention and management.
- Stay current with pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Assist in training and mentoring pharmacy staff and interns.
Qualifications:
- Degree in pharmacy
- Current and valid pharmacist license in Montana.
- Previous experience in a retail or independently owned pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
