New Construction Install Supervisor
Are you an experienced HVAC professional who understands what it takes to deliver exceptional mechanical systems in custom-built homes? We are looking for a New Construction Install Supervisor who has hands-on experience working directly with custom builders, project managers, and installation crews to bring complex residential HVAC systems from design concept to completion.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the details behind custom home construction—from reviewing plans and coordinating ductwork layouts to creating accurate material lists, managing crews, and ensuring every installation meets the expectations of builders and homeowners.
We are looking for someone who can confidently manage the entire HVAC installation process while serving as the key connection between our company, builders, and field teams.
What You'll Do
- Oversee HVAC installations for custom residential new construction projects.
- Work directly with custom builders, general contractors, and project managers to coordinate schedules, expectations, and job progress.
- Review HVAC designs, plans, and job specifications to ensure proper installation execution.
- Assist with ductwork design, installation planning, and creation of complete material lists for each project.
- Coordinate specialty mechanical systems, including gas piping for:
- Pool heaters
- Generators
- Fireplaces
- Outdoor fire pits
- Outdoor kitchens
- Other custom residential features
- Manage multiple active job sites and ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Communicate daily with installation crews regarding job status, challenges, materials, and completion timelines.
- Monitor builder portals, purchase orders (POs), and project updates to maintain accurate project tracking.
- Verify materials are ordered, delivered, and available when crews need them.
- Perform jobsite visits to inspect progress, resolve issues, and maintain installation quality.
- Coordinate with office staff, project managers, builders, and subcontractors to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Ensure installations meet company standards, building codes, and builder expectations.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with custom home builders in new construction HVAC.
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC installation from rough-in through final startup.
- Experience managing HVAC projects where every home has unique requirements.
- Proven ability to read plans, understand mechanical layouts, and coordinate installation details.
- Experience with:
- Custom ductwork layouts
- HVAC material takeoffs and ordering
- Residential gas piping systems
- High-end residential equipment installations
- Builder scheduling and construction timelines
- Strong communication skills with builders, project managers, crews, and homeowners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to make decisions in the field.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with custom home builders is required.
- Knowledge of residential building processes and construction sequencing.
- Experience coordinating with plumbers, electricians, framers, and other trades.
- Familiarity with builder portals, construction management software, and purchase order processes.
- HVAC installation background with leadership or supervisory experience.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
