Location
This is an on-site role based in Irondale, Alabama, offering a collaborative office environment where estimators, operations, and leadership work closely together.
Note
This role requires at least 2 years of direct deep foundation estimating experience; general construction or estimating experience alone will not meet the minimum qualifications.

Job Description
- Prepare and lead detailed estimates for deep foundation scopes including drilled shafts, driven pile, earth retention, and ground improvement.
- Review drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and bid documents to develop accurate takeoffs and cost models.
- Build production assumptions, labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and indirect cost estimates.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, alternates, constructability concerns, and project risks impacting pricing and execution.
- Coordinate bid packages, clarifications, and proposal inputs with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Partner closely with operations and field leadership to validate means and methods, schedules, and production expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, engineers, and project partners.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on deep foundation estimating experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong plan reading, quantity takeoff, cost development, and Excel skills.
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple bids and deadlines.
