Job Overview:
ADORO is seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision of our restaurant and help create a refined dining experience inspired by the Adriatic coast and regional Italian cuisine. Our menu focuses on handmade pasta, seasonal ingredients, house-made focaccia, and elevated yet approachable hospitality.
This role is ideal for a chef who values craftsmanship, creativity, strong kitchen leadership, and ingredient-driven cooking. The Executive Chef will oversee all back-of-house operations while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and kitchen culture.
The ideal candidate has experience with scratch cooking, seasonal menu development, handmade pasta production, and Italian or Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. You will work closely with ownership and management to develop menus that reflect the ADORO brand while maintaining operational excellence, labor efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations and culinary staff
- Develop and execute seasonal Adriatic and Italian-inspired menus
- Oversee handmade pasta, focaccia, and scratch kitchen production
- Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Manage food costing, inventory control, purchasing, and vendor relationships
- Monitor kitchen labor costs, scheduling, and operational efficiency
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen team members
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture
- Drive creativity and innovation while maintaining consistency and profitability
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef
- Strong background in Italian, Mediterranean, or seasonal cuisine
- Experience with handmade pasta and scratch kitchen operations preferred
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Expertise in menu development and kitchen management
- Ability to manage food and labor costs effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
