Medical Billing and Hospital and Insurance Plan Credentialing Coordinator
Location: Gainesville, GA
Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site (Monday–Friday) - there is a possibility of a hybrid schedule after demonstrated proficiency working on-site.
A large, established medical practice in Gainesville is seeking an experienced Medical Credentialing & Provider Enrollment Specialist to join our team immediately!
This position is responsible for credentialing and enrolling physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) with hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and third-party payors.
Responsibilities
- Manage provider credentialing and enrollment with hospitals, ASCs, and insurance payors
- Maintain CAQH profiles and track credentialing requirements, renewals, and expiration dates
- Coordinate with the practice's billing company on provider enrollment applications
- Assist with onboarding new physicians, CRNAs, and staff
Qualifications
- 2- 3years of healthcare credentialing and billing experience highly preferred
- Experience in a medical practice, hospital, or healthcare billing environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and ability to work with credentialing software
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
