The Community Affairs Specialist provides support for various activities designed to engage and collaborate with employees and external community and assists with building community partnerships to help fulfill the mission, vision and strategic goals of Teachers Federal Credit Union.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma; college degree preferred

Minimum four years community and corporate giving experience required

Minimum two years experience in a not-for-profit environment
Job Responsibilities:

Coordinates initiatives designed to promote the organization and its services to the community

Administers organizational programs aimed at addressing the needs of the surrounding area
- Administer and maintain the reporting system for volunteer engagement, charitable donations, and internal and external events

Facilitate and track volunteer hours and organizations
-
Support the planning, execution, communication and evaluation of community engagement campaigns and programs
-
Partner with other areas of the organization to communicate programs internally and externally

Maintain calendars for community and volunteer events
-
Oversee coordination of responses to requests through the community mailbox and submission platforms
-
Manage fulfillment of sponsor benefits and opportunities to maximize ROI from community event sponsorships
-
Facilitate and track annual scholarship program
-
Coordinate tasks related to community and Teachers sponsored events and initiatives
-
Assist with internal communication
-
Provide updates and information to internal business partners regarding events, sponsorships, and volunteering

Other duties may be assigned

The good faith range for this position is $32.00 to $38.00 / hourly. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
