Our client, a food manufacturing company located on Long Island is currently looking for an HR Generalist to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for providing human resources support to a growing manufacturing operation.
What you will do in this role:
- Provide answers and deliver information to employees in regards to employment law, regulations and company HR policies.
- Handling the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening and on-boarding employees.
- Handling training and development, benefits administration and other HR related functions.
- Documenting employee development and performance issues, in conjunction with the supervisory team.
- Creating programs to ensure a positive corporate culture and engaged employees.
What you will bring to the role:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and other employee relations issues.
- Must be English/Spanish bilingual.
- ADP Workforce and Food industry experience is a nice to have!
