About Us:
At Sponge, we make language learning fun, engaging, and meaningful. Our programs focus on preschool and elementary-aged children, helping them build strong foundations in Spanish while fostering confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
What You’ll Do:
- Teach preschool and elementary-aged students in small group Spanish classes
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate play, music, and hands-on activities
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and dynamic classroom environment
- Communicate with parents to share student progress and classroom highlights
Schedule & Compensation:
- $36/class + Travel Reimbursement
- Teachers are compensated for all training and meeting time
- Flexible scheduling options within our program hours. Most classes are typically 1 hour long and are typically after 2pm, Monday to Friday. Teachers get to choose the days and schools they work at based on their availability.
What We’re Looking For:
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience teaching young children (preschool or elementary preferred)
- Energetic, creative, and patient personality
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
