Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Used Car Sales Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle sales team. Duties
- Lead and motivate the used car sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets through effective coaching, training, and performance management
- Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to attract new customers and expand B2B (business-to-business) relationships
- Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting cold calls and outbound sales to closing high-end deals with diverse clientele
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels, accurate inventory control, and timely reconditioning of vehicles
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress
- Conduct negotiations with customers and business partners to maximize upselling opportunities while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Organize public speaking engagements or dealership events to promote used vehicle offerings and enhance brand visibility
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette, communication skills, and professional demeanor during all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automobile sales, dealership management, or retail sales with a focus on used vehicles
- Strong background in outside sales, B2B sales, negotiation, and high-end automotive transactions
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated success in managing a sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure
- Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in inventory management, retail math, and CRM software tools
- Exceptional communication skills including public speaking, phone etiquette, and customer service excellence
- Experience with outbound cold calling campaigns and upselling techniques to boost revenue streams
- Knowledge of automotive inventory control systems and marketing strategies within a dealership environment
