Position Summary
The FOUNDATION is seeking a compassionate Integrated Mental Health Clinician to provide counseling, facilitate group programs, and support the emotional wellbeing of individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
This position combines individual counseling, group facilitation, family education, and collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
We welcome applications from:
- Licensed Mental Health Clinicians (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Master's-level Registered Interns working toward Florida licensure (clinical supervision provided)
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling for children, teens, adults, and families.
- Facilitate mental health, social skills, and life skills groups.
- Develop engaging curriculum and group activities as needed.
- Lead caregiver education and support workshops.
- Collaborate with program staff and community providers.
- Maintain clinical documentation and outcome tracking.
- Help build innovative mental wellness programs that promote independence and community participation.
Qualifications:
Licensed Clinician
- Florida LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT
- Experience providing counseling and facilitating groups
Preferred Experience
- Developmental unique abilities or neurodiverse populations
- Family systems or community mental health
- Group facilitation and curriculum development
