American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position in Indianola, Iowa, requiring a BSN and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting with 115 beds
-
Patient population includes residents with hypertension, diabetes, and those requiring assistance with ADLs and transfers
-
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:40 with medication aides available for pill administration

12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Holiday rotation on an every-other, annually rotating basis

No on-call or call-back responsibilities

Charting system: PointClickCare (PCC)
-
Active IA RN license or Compact RN license required (must be active, no pending licenses accepted)

BSN required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required — no exceptions

Current BLS certification required (copies of active certifications required; pending certifications not accepted)

PointClickCare (PCC) experience preferred

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Valid driver's license required

Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are eligible to apply and may be considered at a local pay rate

Orientation length is determined on an individual basis
