About the Role
We are looking for a versatile, motivated individual to support a busy Attorney in a multifaceted role. This isn't your typical desk job. You will split your time between traditional office administration and hands-on property management tasks.
This is a "ground-floor" opportunity. We are looking for someone who is willing to get their hands dirty today, with the ambition to grow into a specialized legal professional (Title Examiner) tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage high-volume email correspondence, organize digital files, and handle basic office logistics.
- Property Management: Conduct site visits to managed properties, perform basic maintenance (e.g., changing locks, light bulb replacement, yard walkthroughs), and coordinate with contractors.
- Manual Labor: Ability to perform light physical tasks related to property upkeep and moving office supplies/files as needed.
- Basic Maintenance: Changing locks, light bulb replacement, yard walkthroughs and cleanups), and coordinate with contractors and renters
- Professional Growth: You will be trained to run property titles and assist in real estate closings.
- Notary Public: You will be expected to become a commissioned Notary Public (fees covered by the firm).
Requirements
- The "Can-Do" Attitude: You are just as comfortable drafting a professional email as you are using a power drill or clearing debris from a property.
- Reliable Transportation: Required for travel between the office and various property sites.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook/Office and the ability to learn new legal software quickly.
- Organization: High attention to detail; nothing slips through the cracks on your watch.
- Communication: Professional demeanor when interacting with clients, tenants, and vendors.
