Faithful Hearts Homeschool is seeking a Florida Certified Teacher, preferably with experience in Elementary Education and/or ESE, to provide academic instruction and academic skills assessments for homeschool students ages 4–10.
The teacher will provide small-group instruction and assess students’ current academic performance in areas such as Reading, Phonics, Writing, and Math, identify strengths and areas of need, and provide written summaries with recommendations to help develop individualized academic support plans.
The teacher will also assist with lesson planning, academic progress monitoring, and instruction aligned with Florida B.E.S.T. Standards.
Experience working with children with autism and other developmental or learning needs is strongly preferred.
This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday.
Requirements: Active Florida Teaching Certificate; Elementary Education and/or ESE experience preferred; experience conducting academic/diagnostic assessments; ability to provide written assessment results and recommendations; experience with differentiated instruction; familiarity with Florida B.E.S.T. Standards.
Location: Orlando/Kissimmee area, Florida
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 20 hours per week
Pay: $20–$22/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
