Reports To: Service Manager or General Manager
The Entry Level Service Technician supports trailer repair and maintenance work under the guidance of experienced technicians and store leadership. This role is designed for mechanically inclined individuals who want to build hands-on skills in trailer repair while learning proper processes, safety standards, and documentation.
This position is ideal for someone early in their technical career who takes pride in doing things the right way, shows up consistently, and wants to grow into a more advanced technician role over time.

Assist with mechanical, electrical, brake, axle, and wiring repairs under supervision

Perform basic inspections and identify obvious wear or safety issues

Support installation of parts, accessories, and equipment

Help prepare trailers for customer pickup and service completion

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE

Learn to read and follow work orders accurately

Develop diagnostic skills with guidance from senior technicians

Participate in onthejob training and technical skill development

Learn proper documentation practices for completed work

Build familiarity with trailer systems, tools, and shop equipment

Communicate job status and questions clearly to store leadership

Request parts and supplies as directed

Support shop organization and help keep work moving efficiently

Assist teammates as needed to meet daily service demands

Mechanical aptitude and interest in handson repair work

Prior experience as a helper, lube tech, shop assistant, or similar role is a plus

Willingness to learn trailer systems including wiring, brakes, axles, and suspensions

Dependable work habits and strong attention to safety

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed

Valid driver’s license required
