Managing people is harder than managing accounts, and that's exactly the challenge this role is built around. MJ MGMT Group is hiring an Entry Level Assistant Manager in Tampa to help customers get more out of their Verizon service while learning what it actually takes to lead a team.
You'll spend your first weeks in training, learning the Verizon lineup inside and out, fiber internet, 5G, mobile plans, so you can speak to it with real confidence. Once you're ready, you'll split your time between working directly with customers and supporting the reps around you, picking up the fundamentals of coaching, accountability, and team performance along the way.
What You'll Do as an Entry Level Assistant Manager:
- Work directly with customers, exploring Verizon Fios, wireless devices, and mobile plans
- Evaluate a customer's current internet and device setup before recommending a solution that actually fits
- Spot opportunities to upgrade speeds, plans, or bundles based on what a customer actually needs
- Help newer reps sharpen their pitch and improve how they engage with customers
- Stay current on Verizon's fiber network, 5G rollout, devices, and bundle offerings
- Take on small pieces of team operations, scheduling, performance tracking, and day-to-day coordination to start building real management reps
