The Nursing Manager of Inpatient / Medical-Surgical Services is accountable for the overall leadership, operations, staffing, quality, regulatory compliance, and financial performance of inpatient services. This role has full responsibility for all inpatient and medical-surgical nursing operations and personnel management. Physicians and advanced practice providers do not report to this position.
Essential Functions
- Provide operational leadership
- Oversee patient care delivery
- Direct staffing, scheduling, hiring, coaching, discipline, and performance management
- Ensure quality, safety, regulatory compliance, budget management, patient experience, and emergency preparedness
- Directly Supervises registered nurses, LPNs, CNAs, patient care technicians, unit secretaries, and other assigned support staff.
- Physicians and advanced practice providers are not direct reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- BSN required

Missouri RN License in good standing

BLS certification

5 years acute care nursing experience and 3 years leadership experience required

Master’s degree preferred
