Amergis Staffing is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time, weekend NOC-shift assignment supporting residential care homes across Southern California. This role is ideal for nurses with experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
The LPN will provide hands-on care, medication administration, monitoring, and support for residents in long-term care homes. Candidates must have at least one year of experience working with the IDD population and be comfortable working independently during evening shifts.

Provide direct nursing care to residents
Support adults with IDD and complex care needs
Administer medications and follow care plans
Document care and communicate changes promptly
Maintain a safe and supportive environment
Minimum 1 year of experience working with the IDD population – Required
Active LPN/LVN license
Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently
East LA / San Gabriel Valley / Whittier / Valley Regions
Local LPN – Contract Hourly Pay: $35 Estimated Weekly Pay Package: $560

The Long Term Care LPN assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices

Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
- One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS card
- Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater
- Successful completion of Background Screening Process
