Step into an impactful opportunity supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in a vibrant school environment near Springfield, TN. This is a contract position, working onsite across multiple campuses and serving a diverse caseload that spans PreK through 12th grade.
As a valued COTA, you'll collaborate closely with school professionals to provide therapy services, manage caseload requirements, conduct evaluations, and gather and report on student progress—all while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students throughout the school year.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in Tennessee
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong ability to work with children and adolescents across a range of age groups
- Comfortable managing multiple cases and handling required documentation
- Available for an immediate start and able to commit through the end of the current school year
- Monday through Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload from PreK to 12th grade
- Conduct evaluations, collect data, and write reports to support student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other therapists as needed
- Maintain accurate records and support compliance with educational guidelines
- Adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs within the school setting
