We are looking for a talented, motivated, and customer-focused Custom Closet Designer/Sales Consultant with Management Experience to join our team.
In this role, you’ll work directly with homeowners to transform their spaces into beautiful, functional, and highly personalized organizational solutions. From custom closets and home offices to pantries, entertainment systems, and garage storage, you’ll guide clients from the initial consultation through the design and sales process.
In addition to sales and design responsibilities, this position will also include management and operational responsibilities. You will help manage consultation, installation, and shipping schedules, maintain and manage our CRM software, submit payroll, and handle customer questions and concerns. This role is an important part of keeping our day-to-day operations organized and ensuring that our customers receive a smooth, professional experience from the initial consultation through installation.

What You’ll Do
- Meet with clients to understand their organizational needs, preferences, budget, and vision.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Consult with clients to create customized solutions for closets, home offices, pantries, garages, entertainment spaces, and other areas of the home.
- Accurately measure client spaces to ensure designs and finished products are properly customized.
- Create professional CAD drawings, renderings, and presentations based on each client's space and requirements.
- Present design concepts and solutions to clients and confidently guide them through the purchasing decision.
- Generate sales by identifying customer needs and demonstrating the value of our products and services.
- Follow up with leads and prospective customers by phone, email, and other appropriate communication channels.
- Maintain consistent communication throughout the sales and design process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth transition from design and sales through installation.
- Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, and follow-up.
- Provide management with feedback regarding customer needs, market trends, competitive activity, and opportunities.
- Assist with preparing or organizing client spaces when needed to support a successful installation.
- Deliver a professional, positive, and personalized experience to every customer.
Management Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the consultation schedule, ensuring appointments are properly scheduled and communicated to the appropriate team members.
- Manage and coordinate the installation schedule, ensuring installations are scheduled efficiently and customers are kept informed.
- Manage and coordinate the shipping schedule, ensuring materials and products are received and available when needed for installations.
- Monitor project schedules and communicate with team members, installers, vendors, and customers regarding timing and project status.
- Manage and maintain the company’s CRM software, ensuring customer information, project details, leads, sales activity, appointments, and follow-up are accurate and up to date.
- Submit payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and service issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Serve as a point of contact for customers throughout the process and help resolve issues that may arise.
- Help maintain organized and efficient day-to-day operations.
