Kennel Technician- Patient Care in Pet Resort
Brazos Valley Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is a small animal hospital and pet resort located in South College Station. We are looking for a self driven and hard working individual with a love of animals to join our resort team. We are hiring full time or part time, with a minimum of 30 hours a week and rotating weekend availability for 2-3 weekends a month. Previous experience working as a kennel/boarding technician position is preferred. Scheduling can be flexible around class schedules.
Kennel Technician Roles:
- Following individual feeding and medication schedules for boarding pets.
- Walking and playing with the boarding and daycare dogs / cats
- Sanitizing dog runs and cat condos
- Check-in and discharge boarding patients
- Daily client communication with pet owners providing pet updates
- Maintaining an organized and clean environment
- Scheduling and confirming boarding reservations
- Monitoring behavior and health of dogs and cats daily
- Occasionally help bathe dogs for the groomer.

Schedule:
- Alternating weekend shifts required ( 2 -3 a month)
- Approximately 30-40 hours/week
