Join Mineral Springs as a Human Resources Manager in beautiful North Conway, NH
Mineral Springs is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and part of our supportive leadership team in a collaborative environment focused on excellence.
This role is the go-to resource for leadership and staff on all things HR - from recruitment and onboarding through employee relations, compliance, and records management. This position also serves as a backup to the Scheduler and Central Supplies to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full recruitment cycle — job postings, screening, interview coordination, reference checks, offers, and other associated tasks.
Conduct new employee orientation and provide ongoing policy and compliance education
Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, wage and hour rules, and nurse aide registry requirements
Advise department heads on employee relations matters and assist with corrective actions
Process new hire paperwork, status changes, payroll updates, and benefits enrollments
Support survey readiness and participate in plans of correction as assigned
Partner with the Administrator on the HR department budget
Serve as backup for Scheduling and Central Supplies when needed
Promote a positive, engaged workplace culture
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years' HR management experience, preferably in post-acute or long-term care
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Working knowledge of employment law, wage and hour regulations, OSHA, and labor relations
Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion
Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
