Director of Banquets
This position works in all aspects of F&B and between Banquets and on-site restaurant.
· Administer required training and development of the food & beverage team.
· Operate the food & beverage area utilizing Brand Standards & AAM 15 Management best practices.
· Works closely with Event Managers in the preparation for conferences & catering events.
· Create and maintain optimal staffing levels to deliver outstanding service during breakfast, lunch and dinner.
· Stays abreast of emerging food & beverage trends & implement those that would benefit the hotel.
· Consistently enforce all hotel policy regarding employee attendance, appearance standards & service standards.
· Ensure responsible alcoholic beverage service is practiced at all times. Strictly adhere to all local & state regulations regarding food & alcohol service.
· You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
· We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity. We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment
Position Requirements
To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Minimum of 3 years management experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or similar position in a large conference hotel
· Bachelor degree in business, hospitality or related field
· Skilled in conference and event execution for groups of 500 plus
· Flexibility & willingness to work a varied schedule based on the needs of the business
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
