The San Francisco Waldorf School is seeking Boys Varsity Assistant Soccer Coaches for our High School for the upcoming Fall 2026 season. Our High School competes in the Bay Area Conference and is a member of the CIF and NCS.
Fall Season: August 10th - Early November
- Practices: Four times per week in pre-season, twice per week in season.
- Must be available during after-school hours weekdays, between 3:30pm – 6:30pm and weekends.
- Games: Twice per week in season
Stipend: $3,000-$3,400 for season
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan practices, emphasizing the development of fundamental skills through positive feedback.
- Must commit to all weekday practices and games
- Provide consistent communication with students, parents, fellow coaches, and supervisors.
- Attend coaching clinics and meetings as required
- Provide active direction to the team during games.
- Prepare starting lineup and substitutions.
- Create and institute age-appropriate game strategy.
- Learn and comply with NFHS/CIF/NCS league rules and procedures.
- Additional duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- One year of Soccer Coaching or teaching Physical Education
- Previous experience working with high school students
- Excellent communication skills
- Interest in Waldorf Education
- TB Assessment
- Livescan fingerprinting required
Qualified candidates will be those with a strong background in coaching soccer (prefer College/High School coaching and/or playing experience) who seek a team-oriented athletic environment, with the ability to apply leadership, organization, and teaching skills to adolescent student-athletes in a strong and competitive athletic program. Experience is a plus, but is secondary to dedication and commitment.
