Kaya Budtenders share their product knowledge with customers and patients by guiding them through the benefits of different cannabis products. Budtenders have the opportunity to support the loyal Kaya clientele, creating meaningful experiences built on trust in their expertise. WHAT YOU'LL DO?
Kaya Budtenders deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales while ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. Ideal candidates are passionate about cannabis and cannabis education. Kaya budtenders stay sharp by keeping up with the latest products and trends. They also help cultivate the warm and personable Kaya atmosphere that truly sets us apart.
Communication: Answer phones quickly, take messages, and speak openly with the leadership team for timely action needed to ensure customer satisfaction. Use communication app regularly to communicate with team members and share/receive vital information.
Compliance: Ensure all activities, sales, transfers, transactions, etc., are in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations per the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division, the Colorado Department of Finance and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Consultation: Recommend products that best fit the consumer’s needs while meeting business goals. Educate customers on different products, consumption methods, terpenes and cannabinoids. Serve as a trusted liaison between Kaya and our clientele.
Coordination: Ensure the front room, sales floor, and backroom are well-stocked and organized. Work closely with team members to support daily tasks.
Input: Accurately create and process orders in the point of sale system.
Positivity: Always greet clientele with a friendly attitude. Promote a cheerful inclusive work environment while utilizing patience and understanding with our clientele. Exceed expectations by providing outstanding customer service.
Promote: Inspire confidence and loyalty to our brand.
WHO YOU ARE?
An M.E.D. Badge holder.
MUST have cannabis or retail experience.
MUST have an open availability work schedule - Must be able to work weekends and nights NO EXCEPTIONS.
Adaptable and accommodating of weekend, evening, and holiday schedules.
Comfortable multi-tasking.
Dependable and timely for all scheduled shifts.
Detailed, accountable, and proactive.
Efficient, professional, and organized.
Must be experienced with customer service and/or budtending ( >1 Year).
Knowledgeable in point of sale software, cash management, and other basic computer functions.
Physically able to lift 50lbs
Prepared to undergo a background check.
Service and team-oriented.
Willing to take direction and provide appropriate feedback.

- Retail sales: 2 years (Required)
