Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive repairs on classic vehicles using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering components.
- Conduct engine repairs on gasoline engines, ensuring optimal powertrain performance.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques to perform mechanical repairs with precision.
Experience
- Proven automotive repair shop experience working on classic or vintage vehicles is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine systems, powertrain components, and vehicle operating systems.
- Ability to interpret automotive schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
