Responsibilities:
2nd shift lead responsible for manufacturing and general responsibilities throughout the shift but is not limited to:
· Operation of fertilizer blending equipment
· Prepare fertilizer blends meeting specific formulary requirements
· Loader operation inside production blending area
· Ongoing maintenance support to production equipment
· General plant housekeeping
Qualifications:
Education
· High school diploma or equivalent
Requirements:
· Loader experience a plus
· High level of attention to detail
· Strong mechanical aptitude
· Experienced with software-based machinery and equipment a plus
· Must be dependable with driver’s license and transportation; available for overtime and weekend work
· Forklift experience and ability to pass a forklift certification test
· Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds
· Ability to work independently and lead a team
· Adhere to all safety polices and personal protection equipment requirements; follow prescribed work methods
· Focused on quality
· Outstanding housekeeping skills
Physical Demands:
Must be able to perform physical parts of the role
Must be comfortable with heights
Job Type: Full Time $22.00 hourly plus an additional $1.00 night differential
