Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. Hiring immediately for Machine Operators (Adjuster Trainees) in our Kirksville, MO manufacturing plant for 2nd & 3rd shifts.
Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs and availability.
Machine Operator (Adjuster Trainee) Pay/Schedule:
- Starting pay $23.94/hr + applicable shift premium
- 2nd shift premium $1.25/hr - 3pm - 11pm
- 3rd shift premium $1.50/hr - 11pm - 7am
- Training is typically on 1st shift (7am - 3pm); may vary by availability
- Schedule: Mon - Fri / Sat required during busy season/based on business needs
- Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs and availability.
Machine Operator (Adjuster Trainee) Responsibilities & Daily Duties:
- Learn safe operation of high‑speed envelope manufacturing equipment
- Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and basic changeovers
- Support printing, windowing, folding, and gumming changes
- Assist with part installation, cleaning, and routine maintenance
- Monitor product quality and report issues to lead adjusters
- Follow all safety procedures and complete required documentation
- Other duties and assignments as required.
Machine Operator (Adjuster Trainee) Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of relevant mechanical experience
- Intermediate-Advanced mechanical ability to set up, troubleshoot; repair machines
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.
- Flexibility required with machine assignment.
Machine Operator (Adjuster Trainee) Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds with assistance
- Exposure to noise, inks, solvents, adhesives, and high‑speed machinery
- Ability to work in warm or cool manufacturing conditions
- Must remain alert and attentive to safely operate production equipment for a full shift
