Intermodal Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative
Pivot Intermodal is seeking a motivated and organized Intermodal Dispatcher to join our growing team. This position is responsible for coordinating daily driver activities, monitoring load progress, communicating with customers, and ensuring appointments and equipment returns are completed on time.
Responsibilities:
- Dispatch drivers and manage daily workload
- Monitor driver availability and equipment status
- Track loads to ensure customer appointments are met
- Assist drivers with issues while on the road
- Process Express Passes and equipment releases
- Review and update dispatch boards
- Communicate with customers regarding load status and updates
- Assist with paperwork and data entry
- Coordinate with terminals, warehouses, and drivers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Previous trucking, logistics, dispatch, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency required
- Detail-oriented and dependable
Job Types: Temporary, Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
