Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable experience. Your role is crucial in maintaining the bar's efficiency and upholding our high standards of service.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for processing orders and managing transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash register duties accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Assist with catering events or banquets as needed, ensuring all beverage needs are met.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to all food handling regulations and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a bartender is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with food handling practices is a plus.
- Experience with catering or banquet services is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player who can help create a collaborative work atmosphere.
