EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position focuses on maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles and construction equipment to keep operations running smoothly. As a Diesel and Construction Equipment Mechanic, you will perform the following duties:

Equipment Repair: Repair and overhaul vehicles, construction equipment, and mechanical systems

Preventative Maintenance: Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, and adjustments on engines and components

State Inspections: Perform official safety and emissions inspections, as well as complete required documentation

Diagnostic Work: Use tools and testing equipment to identify mechanical issues and determine repair methods

Safety Practices: Maintain a clean and safe work area while following established safety procedures and reporting hazards

Field Support: Make on-site adjustments, assist coworkers, and maintain accurate equipment records

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Shifts may vary seasonally, due to weather, and based on operational needs.

Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $56,607.00 (before taxes).
